Clair obscur serie
This art work serie invites you in a world of sensations, visions, intuitions, dreams and reality perception as an illusion. We see and perceive according to our personal filter. The collection of embroidered pieces plays with contrast, textures and volumes to materialize an intangible inner world always in movement.
Using a diversity of materials, I draw on art embroidery techniques and textile embellishment, particularly gold work and haute couture embroidery wanting to push boundaries and translate them in a personal and contemporary language.

MICROCOSM
My work grows from a curiosity about how our experiences shape us and how art can offer a space for reflection and balance.
The triptych Microcosm invites viewers to an intimate contemplation of the universal principles of life and its building blocks. I depict, across three small panels, the physiology of living beings and the homeostasis that keeps them in balance. I explore the infinitely small: bustling organisms, cells, veins, and branches that carry vital energy and the interconnected dynamics of life.
My process embraces accumulation, and repetition, creating textures and volumes that feel chaotic yet harmonious. I draw from a treasure chest of embroidery techniques, favouring gold thread and beadwork, choosing materials to magnify the subject while embracing slow, repetitive gestures as a way to resist our fast-paced world.
