The Butterfly

In this new workshop intermediate level, you will create a beautiful raised  butterfly embroidery. In the first block we will see how to make an outline with brass thread, and different techniques  composing the wings: filling with satin stitch, bead lines and sequins stitches. In the second block, you will learn how to make a three-dimensional body with padding and ribbon, finishing with assembling the pieces. This class is an intermediate level, basic embroidery notions is recommended.

You must bring:

• embroidery hoop 15cm (if you have one)
• tweezers
• small scissors
• pencil and notebook
• pins
• bead tray (yogourt lid)
